Anne Minter, MS, RYT-500 is currently on adjunct faculty at Miami University where she teaches Anatomy & Physiology to undergraduates. Anne teaches yoga and meditation at colleges and universities, medical centers, non-profits, in national yoga teacher trainings and at local yoga studios. Anne also has experience as a medical researcher (Cincinnati Children’s Hospital) and has been researching, lecturing, and teaching on the evidence-based science of yoga and meditation for 5+ years. Anne is the recipient of local and national grants in support of research and curriculum development on the use of yoga and meditation and an evidence-based treatment for various conditions of human disease.
Anne has been practicing Kundalini Yoga for 15 years and is a certified yoga instructor through the Kundalini Research Institute (via Yoga West Los Angeles, CA), through Radiant Body Yoga (Kia Miller), and through RaviAna Yoga (Ravi Singh and Ana Brett). Anne has had additional training in Tantra, Hatha, and Trauma-informed yoga. Anne continues her yogic education in trauma-sensitive yoga (TC-TSY) at The Trauma Center at the Justice Resource Institute in Brookline, MA and in Kundalini Yoga Therapy at the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology in Espanoloa, NM.
